Camp Tuckahoe is blessed with outstanding facilities that will provide a comfortable home-away-from-home in fall, winter and spring.

Tuckahoe is home to eight state-of-the-art, spacious lodges. The lodges include: Electric lighting, beds with mattresses, woodstove heat, refrigerators/freezer, cooking stove with ovens, dining tables/benches, brooms, mops, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. All lodges have nearby latrines with washstands and exterior frost free, cold water spigots.

The $25 per person fee includes camping fees and all meals from Friday night dinner to Sunday breakfast.

The scouts will help to determine the activities for the weekend, but a few surprises are already in the works!

There will be plenty of room and a separate sleeping area will be arranged for any ladies who would like to attend.

Directions to Camp Tuckahoe:

  • Take I-270N toward Frederick and continue onto US-15N.
  • Turn left at Mountain Road/State Route 4040.
  • Take first right onto Dogwood Lane.
  • Turn left at Camp Ground Road/State Route 4045.
  • Take 2nd right onto Pine Street which becomes Tuckahoe Road.

The $25 fee, a signed permission slip and a current health form are required to participate with the troop.
